Follow Friday (#8)

Thanks to Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read for hosting this fun blogger hop. If you want to get in on the follow fun, check out their blogs.

Q: Today’s question is something new, an activity. We want to see what you look like! Take a pic with you and your current read! Too shy? Boo! Just post a fun pic you want to share.

In my car after a massage and errands. Do not be alarmed: this is not some sort of PSA to say it's okay to read and drive:) I'm parked in the parking lot.
I'm holding an ARC of Far From the War. The concept is insteresting: a 2nd US Civil War that takes place in present day. I'll post the review soon. Almost...finished...

I can't wait to see everyone's friendly face in this blogger hop. It will be great to put faces and names together!

Now I'm off to watch Water for Elephants because we have no school today (parent-teacher conferences are to thank for this well-deserved break). I hope the movie's good and I'm not too grossed out by the romance between Rob Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon because of the age difference. I didn't get a chance to read the book yet. (UPDATE: LOVED the movie. Hardly noticed their age difference--Rob acted older, Reese looks young, so bam, chemistry).
Tonight, I think the hubby and I are going to see Puss and Boots...my phone's text predictor sucks majorly-- I accidentally texted him, "Let's go see Piss n Boots." I hope it brightened his workday at least!

Jenna! Gorgeous pic! I'm a huge fan of scarves =) You're right, it is awesome to put a face to the name.

And I get that comment all the time. Between my baby face and voice people never believe me when I say I'm 22 about to be 23 at the end of the month! hahaha I'm just banking that when I'm 40 I'll look 30 =)

Here's how you embed your link:
WHATEVER YOU WANT TO WRITE GOES HERE

Daughters of Rome is historical fiction aimed at women. Your should definitely try it if you enjoy a spot of historical! :)

I haven't read the book yet--I keep meaning to! My TBR pile is insane. Well, it's a bookcase, not a pile. There's a big age difference? I had no idea!
BTW, I checked out your NaNo profile and added you as a buddy. I LOVE your story idea! Very original!
Thanks for visiting! :)

You photograph much better than I do! Haha.
I don't think the age difference bothers me.. just who they are! Haven't seen it for that reason. Would still love to read the book though.

Just to be different, I'm "Burgandy Ice" on NaNoWriMo, too. jajajaja (that's laughing in Spanish) ('cause I'm being sarcastic.)

Thx for hopping by and I hope you figure out how to Buddy-me on Nano 'cause I could totally use it, too. I'm up to 3184 words today, but it looks sad on the scale.

Love your picture. You have an ARC!! Woohoo!!

Hopping through. I was kind of grossed out by their age difference. But I think that's only because I knew about it. I wouldn't have been able to tell if I wasn't familiar with the actors. They each did a great job.

And I read while driving - but at stoplights only. Not totally stupid. :-)
